When God allows everything that is familiar to be stripped away and the nakedness of your soul is exposed … that is when true ministry can happen.”

That is what Heather experienced in March of 2008, when she gave birth to a baby with special needs. She was devastated, overwhelmed and in extreme grief … but, God met her in her weakness. Through this life-changing event, Heather has felt an array of emotions and been through many ups and downs, but God has used the birth of a little baby girl with Down syndrome to shape her heart in such a tender way.

Heather already had a heart for ministry. The Lord had blessed her with many, many opportunities to travel, sharing her voice through concerts and leading worship for events. But, after giving birth to her little Victoria, God began opening new doors for Heather. She began to receive bookings as a guest speaker.

I had always spoken during concerts and worship events … and I felt completely comfortable with that. But, never in a million years had I imagined that I would have opportunities to be a guest speaker for events. I had no idea what a blessing I was in for!”

Heather and VictoriaHeather has been traveling as a guest speaker for churches and women’s events since 2008. Her transparency and heartfelt messages are powerful and long-remembered. She connects with an audience in a “real” and “authentic” way. Because she has walked through dark days in her own life and witnessed God’s hand through it all, she understands and can relate incredibly well with anyone on an unexpected journey in life.

She will leave your congregation feeling encouraged, not through self-help phrases, but through the empowerment given in God’s Holy Word. She will not leave ministry behind when she steps off of your stage, but for her … ministry really begins when she is able to connect with your congregation after an event has ended.

My deepest longing … that God would use my talents and everything I have gone through for His glory. I want my life to count for something and I can’t think of any better way to make a mark on eternity, than to share God’s message of hope with people!”
